When Art passed away, we couldn't let this legendary brand go with him. We purchased AC Shiners with one promise: to keep his legacy alive and keep anglers catching fish. Every lure we produce today is crafted and assembled using the exacting processes and techniques he perfected — ensuring that the tradition of excellence continues with every cast.

Chris Caldemeyer is the new owner and craftsman behind every AC Shiner produced today. Working from Art's original shop, on Art's original machinery, Chris hand-builds each lure to the same exacting standard Art spent his life perfecting — guided by Art's son Bill and Connie Bolser, Art's longtime friend and dedicated employee for nearly three decades.
